MicAnchor privacy policy

Michael Lip provides MicAnchor. The support website and contact address are not configured in this build. Read Support in Settings for local help.

MicAnchor reads audio device names, device identifiers, transport types, microphone availability, and the current default input and output. It uses these details to show your devices and select your preferred microphone. It reads the computer's lid state to avoid a disconnected built-in microphone. It does not record or listen to audio.

Your guard setting, ordered microphone identifiers, last 20 confirmed switches with device names, reasons and times, intervention count and time, temporary Bluetooth permission, and temporary guard pause stay in local app preferences on your computer. MicAnchor uses the operating system's launch-at-login service only when you turn it on in Settings. It starts off.

MicAnchor collects no data and sends no data. It has no analytics, tracking, advertising, account, or network service. Michael Lip does not receive your audio device details or preferences.

You can remove saved settings by deleting MicAnchor's local app data. If you contact support after a contact destination is configured, Michael Lip receives the information you choose to include in your message and uses it to answer your request.
