Privacy Policy — Auto Admit Pro for Google Meet
This privacy policy applies to the "Auto Admit Pro for Google Meet" browser extension, published by Zovo (operated by Autom8 LLC). Effective 7 July 2026, updated 5 August 2026.
This page is the dedicated privacy policy for the Auto Admit Pro for Google Meet Chrome extension. It describes exactly what information the extension handles, what never leaves your device, and your rights.
1. Summary
- We do not sell or rent your personal data. Ever.
- We do not use third-party advertising or tracking networks in our extensions.
- Most extension functionality runs 100% on your device; your browsing content, page data, screenshots, and recordings stay local and are never uploaded to us.
- The only data that leaves your device is (a) a license key you enter, sent to our license server to verify a Pro purchase, and (b) payment details you provide on our website's checkout, handled by our payment processor.
2. Information we process
| Data | Purpose | Where it goes |
|---|---|---|
| Extension settings & preferences | Remember your configuration | Stored locally on your device via chrome.storage; not transmitted to us |
| License key (if you buy Pro) | Verify your Pro entitlement | Sent to our license API to return valid/invalid + tier; we store the key and verification timestamp |
| Your own AI API key (BYOK, AI features only) | Call the AI provider you chose, directly from your browser | Stored locally, encrypted; never sent to Zovo — requests go client-side to the provider you configured |
| Purchase details (website checkout) | Process a payment | Handled by our payment processor (Stripe); we do not store card numbers |
| Page content, tabs, screenshots, recordings, clipboard | The extension's core feature, on your screen | Processed locally on your device only; never collected or uploaded by us |
3. What we do not collect
We do not collect your browsing history, the content of pages you visit, keystrokes, form data, screenshots, screen recordings, or personally identifying information, except the minimal license/payment data described above that you actively provide. We do not build advertising profiles.
4. Permissions
Each extension requests the minimum Chrome permissions required for its stated function, and justifies each in its Chrome Web Store listing. Permissions are used solely to deliver the feature you installed the extension for — not to gather data. Where possible we use activeTab and optional permissions you grant on demand.
5. Third parties
We use a small number of processors strictly to operate the service: our license-verification backend (Supabase) to validate Pro keys, and Stripe to process website payments. We do not share your data with advertisers, data brokers, or any other third party. AI features use a provider you choose with your key; that provider's privacy policy governs those requests.
6. Data retention
Local settings persist until you clear them or uninstall the extension. License verification records are retained for the life of the license to keep your Pro access working. You can remove all local data any time by removing the extension.
7. Your rights (GDPR / CCPA)
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of the limited personal data we hold (your license key and associated purchase record), and you may object to or restrict its processing. We do not sell personal information. To exercise any right, email support@zovo.one and we will respond within 30 days.
8. Children
Our products are not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
9. Changes
We may update this policy; material changes will be reflected by the effective date above. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance.
