Last updated 2026-11-05. Zovo publishes Nudge Reminders for Jira ("Nudge").
Nudge keeps its data in Forge storage, which Atlassian hosts. Nothing is sent outside Atlassian. Each reminder holds your Atlassian account ID (you own the reminder), the work item's ID and key, and the note you wrote, up to 500 characters. It also holds the due time, the local time you picked (and a repeat's usual time) and your time zone, plus who should get the email (you, the assignee, the watchers), the repeat setting and the skip-if-done setting.
Nudge also saves your site's URL for the link in the email. And it records how sending went, meaning the state, the number of tries, the last error, and how many times and when it was sent.
It also keeps a list of the account IDs that own reminders, with the time each was last updated, for Atlassian's personal data reporting. And it keeps short-lived send locks that hold only a reminder ID, which expire after 6 hours.
Nudge doesn't store work item titles, descriptions or comments. It reads the key, title and status from Jira when you open your list and when an email is sent.
Only you see your reminders in the app. The assignee or watchers you chose get the email, with your display name and your note, if they can browse the work item.
Scheduled reminders stay until they're sent or you cancel them. Sent, skipped and failed reminders are deleted 30 days after their time. Cancelling deletes a reminder at once. Uninstalling the app deletes its Forge storage, as Atlassian's Forge platform does for every app.
Once a week Nudge sends the stored account IDs to Atlassian's personal data reporting API. When Atlassian says an account is closed, Nudge deletes all of that person's reminders and removes the account ID.
The app's logs hold counts and error names only. They don't contain notes, titles or account IDs.
